Staff and students from the Faculty of Management Sciences are enthusiastic supporters of the national team. We have been following Bafana Bafana with great interest as they continue to perform with skill and tenacity at national and club level. The signs are indeed encouraging with added advantage of a great deal of support on their home ground. The team has been well prepared under the direction of an excellent coach. They will also be welcoming back some very talented and experienced overseas players, including Captain Aaron Mokoena, who performed wonderfully and strategically in the recent English Cup Final. I expect the team to give all they can, in what will be the most important matches of their careers. They are in a tough group but this is not an insurmountable challenge. We hope they surprise the pessimists. Bafana Bafana, play without fear, as you are in the team because you have shown you are good enough to do the job and beat the best in the world!
