This is what Mbuyiselo Botha, spokesperson for the Sonke Gender Justice Network, said on Monday afternoon.
The sheriff could soon seize enough of Malema's possessions to recover the R50 000 he failed to pay to People Opposing Woman Abuse (Powa).
Malema was found guilty of hate speech and harassment in the Equality Court in March.
Botha said he's satisfied that the matter is coming to a close.
"Today we showed that no-one in South Africa is above the law," Botha said.
Botha can now instruct his attorneys to ask the sheriff to seize assets worth R50 000.
The Sonke Gender Justice Network took Malema to the Equity Court after he last year attacked the character of the woman who accused President Jacob Zuma of rape.
Nice time
Malema had said that Khwezi (the alias used by the complainant in the rape case) had a "nice time".
"If a woman didn't enjoy it (sex), she leaves early in the morning. Those who enjoyed it wait for the sun to come up and ask for breakfast and taxi money.
"That morning the woman asked for breakfast and taxi money. You don't ask someone who raped you for taxi money," Malema supposedly said.
After being found guilty, Malema indicated that he wanted to appeal.
The 60-day period he had to submit his appeal apparently expired without him having submitted the appeal documents.
Malema, his attorney Tumi Mokwena, and ANC Youth League spokesperson Floyd Shivambu were all unavailable for comment on Monday.
The sheriff's office also wouldn't comment.
Not notified
According to an earlier Sapa report, Mokwena said that the notice of intention to appeal was, in fact, filed in April.
He said the procedure was, after filing notice of intention to appeal, they would then be supplied with the record of proceedings, which had not yet taken place.
"We are still waiting for that," said Mokwena.
According to Mokwena, they had also not been officially informed of the intention to attach some of Malema's property.
"We have not been officially notified of that. If it comes to our attention we will get a stay.
"There (has been) no communication, other than what we have seen in the media," he said.
