A deadline to make a request to Google over the internet ended at midnight on Friday. So far the company has not said how many people submitted online requests that their properties be blurred.
No one could immediately be reached at Google on Saturday. Google has committed itself to extensive measures to protect personal privacy in Germany, including allowing people the eight-week window to make an online request before it puts Street View online for the nation's largest cities next month.
German authorities estimate that several hundred people have requested their properties be unrecognisable.
