Pretoria – Every time that Eugène
Terre'Blanche's alleged killer closes his eyes, he sees the face of the
murdered AWB leader.
Chris Mahlangu, 28, apparently told his girlfriend, Ntombifuthi Mofokeng, that he
was being haunted by the dead man.
Mofokeng, who
has two children with Mahlangu, said her boyfriend had even cried when thinking
of Terre'Blanche.
He spoke to
his girlfriend about the fateful day in Ventersdorp and said: "I was
angry. He didn't pay me."
Reporters interviewed
Mahlangu shortly before he was arrested again and his bail was revoked.
Mahlangu was
described by community members as a quiet man who bothered no-one and did odd
jobs to support his family.
