Bafana Bafana see you in Durban for the Semi Finals! Here our students from the Department of Food and Nutrition, Consumer Sciences programme will be taking care of your nutritional vitality and that of some of the VIPs in the stadium. All of the members of the Ball Crew (on the side line) have been trained by Bongani Yengwa from the Department of Sport Studies, will be at your service, while scores (yes scores hint hint!) of students from the same department will host and entertain your fans, everyday throughout the tournament. The pitches that you will play on could one day be designed and/or assembled by graduates of the Department of Horticulture. And yes those snug ,figure hugging and dare I say sexy shirts that you will be playing in have been designed and assembled by specialists from the Industry, that graduates of our Department of Clothing and Textiles will one day work for and more than likely lead! Good luck.
